Submission readiness reviews

iOS App Store submission readiness review.

Your build works on your phone. The next question is what a reviewer sees with a fresh install, a demo account and none of the context you have. A Certari reviewer installs your iOS build and checks the agreed workflows, reviewer access and submission materials against the current App Store Review Guidelines and App Store Connect requirements.

Essentials is $449. Standard is $749. Reports are delivered within 5 business days after payment and complete access.

One review covers one build. No source code is needed. The sample report is synthetic: it shows the format, not a customer result.

Who it is for
A founder or agency with an installable iPhone or iPad build approaching submission, or answering a specific rejection.
What you get
A private, prioritized report of what the reviewer observed on your build, why it matters and what to fix, with guideline references.
Not included
Fixing or submitting the app, writing store metadata, account administration, legal review, security testing or any promise about Apple's decision.
Next step
Choose a package and confirm the scope fits your app. The agreement, access requirements and refund terms are shown before payment. Your delivery clock starts once payment and complete reviewer access are in place.

Apple decides approval. Certari does not.

Certari is not affiliated with Apple and does not promise acceptance, expedited review or a compliance certification. Apple's 2025 transparency report lists about 9.1 million submissions reviewed and about 2.09 million rejected. This review exists to catch the rejections you could have seen coming. The reviewer reports what was observed on your build; Apple makes the call.

  • Not a security review. This review does not examine your source code or test security controls, and it never earns the Certari badge. The badge belongs to the separate security review.
  • iOS only. The offer covers the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad apps.
  • One build, recorded exactly. The report names the build, devices, OS versions and dates. A new build after the report is a re-check, not a redo of the original review.

App Store pre-submission checks

Checks are phrased as what the reviewer does, never as a guarantee. Which checks apply depends on what your app does; the intake asks.

Not included: fixing the app, writing store metadata, submitting the app, App Store Connect account administration, legal review of privacy policies, security testing, and any promise about Apple's decision.

What the report contains

  • Exact build identifier and version, devices, OS versions and the dates of testing
  • Every finding with severity (likely blocker, needs attention or advisory), the evidence observed, the guideline it relates to and practical fix guidance
  • A checks summary that separates Verified, Customer stated and Not checked, so an unperformed check is never shown as passed
  • The limitations of the review: what was out of scope and what could not be exercised

What you prepare

  • TestFlight access for the reviewer, or a build shared through the agreed secure channel
  • A demo account with synthetic data, where the app has accounts
  • Your store listing text and screenshots as you plan to submit them
  • Your draft App Review notes
  • Previous App Review rejection messages, if any

Never collected

  • Apple ID passwords
  • Signing certificates or provisioning profiles
  • API keys, production secrets or customer data

Demo accounts should hold synthetic data, and you revoke them after delivery. Working evidence is deleted 30 days after delivery unless the agreement says otherwise.

Pricing

Paid in full at acceptance. Prices are based on bounded reviewer effort; if your app needs more, Certari writes a new scope before more work and nothing is charged automatically. Choose Standard because your app has the features it tests, not because it is bigger.
